Former Disney star Raven Symone has gone from plump to bonny. The 25-year old star of “That’s so raven” has been making news lately for her dramatic weight loss. The crowd was hushed when she appeared for her interview on her up-coming series “State of New Georgia”.The actress displayed her fabulous weight loss in a leopard-print dress which highlighted her new tiny frame. Below you can find the fact of Raven Symone Weight Loss.
Raven became popular as a child model before joining the acting industry where she starred in shows including “The Cosby Show” and films such as “Dr. Doolittle”. She was always proud of her plus-size role model and always showed confidence about her plumpness. She once called herself “thick and fabulous” and insisted that she has a curvy body. But Raven Symoné was almost unrecognizable as she pounded the catwalk for a charity event.
It is unclear that how much exactly has the actress lost weight but it is predicted to be around 35 lbs. What is the secret behind her weight loss? Well that still is a secret but the actress claims it was simple stress reduction. This might as well be true as stress causes us to crave sugar, salt and fat. “I stopped stressing. You have to realize at 15, there was a whole entire show I had on my shoulders. It was a very big cast and crew and if you’re sick for a day, people lose money and that’s a problem,” she said at the time. “[It wasn't] just over eating because I’ve actually been eating the same. I keep a little bit smaller portions because I learned that your body has to get rid of that stress some way. Some people break-out, some people lose their hair, some lose weight, some people gain weight, my body just reacted a certain kind of way.”
Symone also admitted that the amount of praise her new slender look attracts is quiet funny. “I find it funny that people now come up to me and say, ‘Wow, you are absolutely gorgeous. I’m like, ‘I was beautiful before I lost weight. Egotistically speaking, I thought I was amazing.’”
The star gave out a very important message in 2008 about weight loss mania. She says, ‘My conflict in life is just making sure that I remember that I’m beautiful just the way I am, no matter what size I am.”It doesn’t matter what size you are, everybody is fabulous in their own way!
After a full season of hints, allusions, and foreshadowing, “The Blue Templar” was finally front and middle for the finale of Blue Bloods.
Once Jamie told the family about his private examination into Joe’s death, things took off pretty quickly. Frank took over and delegated tasks to Danny, Henry, and Erin, the only people he deemed he could belief
Frank’s emotions were just under the outside as Danny and Erin bickered over whether there was enough testimony to move forward. But the whole family worked this case with a laser focus. This was personal, but infectious the bad guys is also the family business.
Jackie certainly had Danny’s back on this one but it did make me wonder who had Jackie’s? When she called Danny to say she’d been sprint off the road, he didn’t seem overly worried. We’re talking about the Blue Templar here. They killed his brother. I would have consideration he’d be a little more concerned for his partner’s security.
Frank was pretty inspiring when he stalked out of that SUV for the final take down. He got out of the car looking every tad the part of the enforcer. Of course, having an ESU team backing he surely helped.
Cod MW 3 takes position in New York City, Paris, France, London, England and Germany. Rumours have stated further levels from Dubai to D.C. are also part of the movement mode’s chapter list, but this has yet to be established by Activision. We can say for sure that Russian enemies from MW2 arrival. This game picks up where its 2008 forerunner left off, meaning that Manhattan is under assault by the Russians. The first 35-second teaser trailer even ends with a brief message in Russian right along with a projectile being launched over top of the Big Apple, as seen by a 3D radar leadership system.
The second place of trailers, uploaded two hours after the first American-set teaser, all take place in Europe. The three videos characteristic the same 3D radar guidance system set up and are 35 seconds long. But, unlike the Manhattan flyby which cuts to the MW3 logo all too rapidly, we actually see the affects of the blasts in London, Paris and Germany. The London House of Parliament is the aim of terrorists in the England video, while a port-diving bridge is in their highlights next to the Eiffel Tower in the France video. We’re unsure of the German city, as the 3D radar descriptions depicts a nondescript skyscraper exploding along with a take rolling down an unknown street. Its likely Berlin or Hamburg, as both Germany cities are rumoured by is a part of the crusade.
All of this in sequence wasn’t set to release just yet, according to the Twitter account of Perpetuity Ward Imaginative Strategist Robert Bowling. He tweeted: “Wasn’t intended, but you’re clearly hyped, so here is the 1st of many Modern Warfare 3 videos impending in hot today! #MW3,” referring to the week-long leak of Cod 3 details. As a deterrent note, Bowling also tweeted seven hours before making that statement: “A lot of hype & a lot of leaked info on #MW3, some still precise, some not. To avoid spoiling the knowledge, I’d wait for the real
The passing of Derek Boogaard has taken a profound toll on the fans who knew the player best, those of the Minnesota Wild. Boogaard played the first five years of his profession in Minnesota, and in that time between 2005 and 2010, he became possibly the most beloved player in the history of the franchise.
My favourite Boogaard memory was meeting him with my brother. Tyler was on his two-week leave from Iraq the same time that Boogey came to our municipality. We waited in line for four hours to be the first to get together with him, and he was SUCH a sweetheart. Boogaard was someone that carry my brother and I closer to each other, and because of that he supposed more to me than I think most people can appreciate.
Derek came in on Entirely occasions to our establishment and was very nice! I remember helping him once and at first, not knowing who he was, treated him like anyone else. He was super kind and didn’t have any complaints. Then I found out who he was at my table and I straight away felt star-struck. He was an astonishing athlete and he will forever be missed.

The veteran TV comedy star Mary Tyler Moore is set to pass surgery to remove a meningioma – the type of tumor, usually benign, which may arise in the meninges, the brain protective outer membrane.
“On the recommendation of his neurologist, who is monitoring this for years, and a neurosurgeon, Maria decided to start this fairly routine procedure,” an unnamed representative of the 74-year-old actress told People magazine Thursday.
Press Secretary Alla Plotkin told The Associated Press on Thursday that the transaction date has not yet been established.
Two neurosurgeons not involved in helping Moore agreed that it was probably not at great risk of meningioma.
“Meningitis is one of the most common brain tumors in adults. They are benign and in many cases completely resectable [removable by surgery],” said Dr. Arno H. Fried, a Department of Neurosurgery at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey “They grow slowly and occasionally looked at some time in order to determine if it should be removed. If the meningioma is large enough, causing symptoms and grows, it should be removed. This is a common operation for the neurosurgeon who sees cases of brain tumor as a significant part of their practice. ”
Another neurosurgeon said that doctors usually decide to act on the basis of the nature of the tumor and any symptoms.
“Sometimes [tumors] is removed before the patient becomes symptomatic, if we are concerned about the rate of growth,” said Dr Anders Cohen, chief of neurosurgery at Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. “The problem is based on the place where it grows. Depending on what part of the brain tumor pressing against will determine the symptoms, which can be as easy as headaches or seizures, or may affect the movement, vision or speech.”
He added that the results of Moore after the operation is likely to be good.
“The forecast for the removal of meningioma is usually very successful, and much depends on the patient before surgery, and the size and location of the tumor,” Cohen said. “The vast majority of patients do well and return to their former way of life.”
Moore is best known for her starring roles in two popular comedies, Television, Dick Van Dyke Show in the 1960′s and 1970′s hit The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Moore was also nominated for an Oscar for her role in 1981 in Ordinary People. Type 1 diabetes for many years, she is chairman of the International Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

James Durbin:While her fellow final four contestants James Durbin, Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery – received solid remarks on Wednesday’s night of double performances, Haley Reinhart’s reviews were mixed. The American Idol judges questioned her song choice of Michael Jackson’s “Earth Song” but adored her follow-up performance of “I (Who Have Nothing).”
But was it enough?
Keep reading to find out who was sent home from Idol Thursday night – and which contestants are now in season 10′s top three.
Ryan Seacrest put Wednesday night’s vote at 72 million, the highest ever for a top four – a quartet on the cusp of being reduced to a trio who’ll be celebrated by their hometowns on next week’s show.
And Haley made it!
It turned out that Randy Jackson’s recent prediction was inaccurate: James, the high-decibel rocker with the highly emotional back-story, was eliminated after being in the bottom two with country guy Scotty.
“I worked so damn hard to get here and, God, I was really hoping to get there,” James said, his voice shaking with tears while Jennifer Lopez cried from the panel. “I did so much stuff that’s never been done on this show before … In my eyes, in my mind … I did what I came here to do, and that was to give metal a chance!”
He managed to get through “Maybe I’m Amazed” for his encore, and even exited with a few high leaps and throwing his jacket into the crowd – a noble attempt to keep up the proper swagger.
Judges’ Praise
The judges generally praised James more than any of the other finalists, but a certain aural fatigue was starting to set in over the past few weeks. Viewers may simply have tired of the way he was thrust at them as the frontrunner.
Jimmy Iovine wondered if he hadn’t allowed himself to show too much naked emotion when he struggled to perform “Without You” the other week. Judy Garland and Edith Piaf may have sobbed during their signature songs, but there was never any doubt they had the showbiz instinct to get through – sometimes it takes the resolve of an ice trucker.
Why did Scotty finally wind up in the bottom two? I suspect his second number on Wednesday, a jokey-hokey attempt at a crowd-pleaser with the oldie “Young Blood,” played a lot worse on TV than for the judges. Maybe he should go back to holding his mic at that odd angle, like Bugs Bunny with his carrot.
Osama Bin Laden Dead:Reporting from Washington and Los Angeles—Osama bin Laden, the world’s most wanted terrorist, was killed in Pakistan as the result of a U.S. military operation, President Obama announced to the nation Sunday night.
The historic revelation comes about four months before the 10th anniversary of the devastating Sept. 11 attacks on the United States, which were executed by the Al Qaeda network helmed by Bin Laden and prompted the start of a war on terror that has dominated U.S. foreign policy.
Bin Laden, 54, was a member of a wealthy Saudi family and has been on the FBI’s Most Wanted Fugitives List since 1999.
Bin Laden broke with Saudi leaders over their beliefs regarding Israel. He was eventually denounced by his family and gave up citizenship.
Al Qaeda has taken responsibility for the bombings of U.S. embassies in 1998 in Tanzania and Kenya. More than 200 people were killed in the attacks.
Al Qaeda has also claimed responsibility for other attacks on other symbols of U.S. power around the globe. It has spawned local organizations in hot spots from Iraq to Afghanistan.
The announcement by Obama from the East Room of the White House came eight years to the day after President Bush announced the end of major combat operations in Iraq, the so-called “Mission Accomplished” speech from the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.
Members of Congress were briefed on the news by Vice President Joe Biden throughout the weekend, according to a Senate aide.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein, chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, related the news to mourners at a memorial service for political consultant Kam Kuwata. Feinstein said Obama was announcing it on TV as she spoke. However, she announced the news well before Obama began to speak.
An extraordinary view of Aurora Borealis: also known as the Northern Lights, was provided on Youtube by an airplane passenger on a flight from San Francisco to Paris.
The traveler, Youtube handle nbolt, shot a photo approximately every two miles on the 11-hour trip, which equates to a snap of the photo every two seconds. The photos were made with a 5d2, a time-lapse controller, and a 16mm–35mm camera, along with an iPhone.
Nbolt posted the results as a time lapse video that can be found with a quick Google search. He duly notes that photos were not taken during take-off and landing in order to satisfy FAA rules. Those are a computer model, nbolt said in a blog post.
In all, 2,459 photos were condensed into two minutes. They also include amazing shots of the Canadian tundra. Nbolt said he had a whole row to himself on the Air France flight and the crew allowed him to set up a tripod and other gear to take the photos.
According to Wikipedia, an aurora is a natural light display in the sky that occurs mostly in the polar regions. They are caused by the collision of charged particles directed by the Earth’s magnetic field.

Josh Hamilton:It was just a stupid play,” Hamilton said. “I definitely shouldn’t have done it.”
Inge caught the ball and tossed it Martinez, who was racing home, and the catcher was able to tag out Hamilton as made a headfirst dive.
“I listened to my third-base coach,” Hamilton said. “That’s a little too aggressive. The whole time I was watching the play I was listening. [He said] ‘Nobody’s at home, nobody’s at home.’ I was like, ‘Dude, I don’t want to do this. Something’s going to happen.’ But I listened to my coach. And how do you avoid a tag the best? By going in headfirst and get out of the way and get in there. That’s what I did.”
Anderson said after the game that he hadn’t had a chance to talk the play over with Hamilton because the slugger was getting tests done. But Anderson said it was a play he would have tried with any of the club’s speed guys.
“There was nobody covering home plate, so we tried to steal a run there,” Anderson said. “He made a pretty good play. That’s a tough play for a catcher, running away and shovel pass and try to tag a guy. There was an opportunity with two outs and we tried to take advantage of it.”
Anderson said he would have preferred that Hamilton hadn’t dived in headfirst.
“I always want him to slide feet first no matter what he does,” Anderson said. “You play this game long enough, and I’ve gone through it too, sliding headfirst, and have had some injuries. Sometimes you can’t help it, your instinct just tells you to dive and try to get there. But most of the time you try to go feet first if you can to try to stay away from injuries.”
After Hamilton was tagged out at the plate, he walked to the dugout with his arm behind his back. He then tried to take some swings, but when he stopped his swing he felt a lot of pain.
“He just came up and told me he couldn’t go and that was it,” manager Ron Washington said.
General manager Jon Daniels said Hamilton won’t be able to swing a bat for a month. The injury is being termed a non-displaced fracture of the humerus bone.
The fracture was small enough that it wasn’t detected on an X-ray, but Daniels held a conference call about two hours after the game with results from an MRI exam.
“Obviously, he’s a big part of our club,” Daniels said. “We built the club to deal with something like this.”
Daniels, who admitted he hasn’t seen the play yet because he’s been visiting the club’s Class A team in Hickory, said he was fine with Anderson’s decision to send Hamilton.
“I have absolutely no issue with Dave sending him,” Daniels said. “We play an aggressive style of baseball. We run. We take the extra base. The chances of getting hurt on that play are minimal. I’ve encouraged Dave to keep being aggressive.”
Hamilton said he heard two pops from his shoulder after he slid into home.
“I’m a little worried,” Hamilton said before he learned his fate.
Jamie Oliver Food Revolution:Jamie Oliver tried to launch a new season of Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, but he was met with some stiff resistance. The unintended message he delivered was one from West Coast America: Don’t take our cheeseburgers away from us, you pushy Brit!
Shoved out of the L.A. school system early on in the hour (if he thought the bureaucracy in Huntington, W. Va., was tough, he had not reckoned with an L.A. school board), Oliver took to the streets.
He went to an L.A. burger joint to try and win a convert, a site on which to practice his good-nutrition ideas. As someone who admires and partakes of Los Angeles’ many fine independent fast-food establishments when I visit, I was ambivalent as he tried the patience of the owner of Patra’s, a good-looking L.A. burger joint (I haven’t eaten there). Oliver tried to convince the guy to re-do his menu with healthier items that would cost this small-businessman more money, which cost would be passed on to his customers. Can you blame the man for not wanting to be used as Jamie Oliver’s guinea pig, and to lose business while Oliver passes off yogurt smoothies as milk shakes?
Oliver is great at the grand gestures. The climax to the first hour was to have an empty school bus (“this icon of trust,” as Oliver put it) filled with the amount of white sugar consumed by students in the L.A. school system in a week. The sugar — 57 tons of it — overflowed the bus. It made a great impression… on the 20 people who showed up.
But his showboating gestures don’t make for coherent arguments, either with school officials or, ultimately, with TV viewers, I would guess.
