Earl will bring between three and five inches of rain to the Leeward Islands, with as much as 8 inches possible in some areas. Puerto Rico could receive anywhere between four and six inches of rain, with as much as 12 inches being possible.
Hurricane Danielle has avoided land, and continues to weaken as it moves farther out into the ocean. At one point, Danielle was categorized as a Category 4 hurricane, but it has weakened to a Category one since that time. The storm is moving north-northeast at nearly 30 MPH. Luckily, the storm did not threaten any land and has remained in the ocean.
